1. How do I pay for the citation?

• Send in a check for the amount in the envelope attached to the back of the citation (Please put the citation Number on check)
• Pay online with credit card at Citation Processing Center ($3 convenience fee)
• Pay by Phone: Call (toll-free) 800-989-2058. Payments can also be made using VISA, MasterCard, Discover or AMEX 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Do Not send in cash

3. How many days do I have to pay the citation?

Payment must be made within 20 days. Failure to pay within the specified time frame may result in a notification to the State Franchise Tax Board.

4. How do I appeal the citation?

Send in a written request to appeal the citation within 20 days of the issuance of the citation. Include a check for the full penalty amount or the appeal will not be accepted.

5. How many days do I have to appeal the citation?

20 days from the issuance date.

6. What are the payment plan options?
