The City had developed, expanded, and partnered to present Community and Special Events to foster unity among residents, an alternative location that would promote physical and mental health, and allow for in-person interactions with City Council members and staff personnel. The City has been successful in engaging residents by conducting Tier IV events such as Astronomy Night, Movie in the Park, and Popsicles in the Park which attract 50 – 150 attendees.
To expand on this success, the City had reached out to multiple residential communities inquiring if they were interested in a partnership that would generate synergy between the City of Wildomar and the residential neighborhood. As part of the objective in conducting these events, the City will go to the resident rather than having the resident drive to another neighboring location.
The City’s legal counsel and risk management provider developed a Joint Park Use License Agreement as a key component to present these events successfully and cautiously.
