Personal goal statement
I care deeply about Wildomar, its varied residents, their quality of life and the community's potential long-term viability. I spent the last six years educating myself about local and regional issues as well as planning and development and advocating for our community on a local, regional and state level. I am a life-long learner and will continue to educate myself and use my knowledge and skills to be of service to our community.
The direction and scope of the City Council’s work in Wildomar is something that can profoundly affect our community. I do not take this commitment lightly. I believe, for all members, it will involve hard work, dedication, the ability to compromise without sacrificing integrity, and a clear vision of our community's next phase of life and the steps needed to get there.
I am a strong advocate for the best General Plan we can have in order to create a balanced community (housing; commercial/retail; business park/office; education; open space/conservation areas; recreation/multi-purpose trails; the arts; appropriate infrastructure). A good plan will be suitable to the size and nature of our community and thus positively affect the area's potential for quality development, as well as nurturing sustainable long-term economic growth.
