City Council

The City Council is made up of five members elected by the community to serve as the chief law-making and policy-setting body of the municipality. It appoints a city manager to direct administrative affairs and a city attorney to be its chief legal advisor. Council members serve four-year terms. Two members of the inaugural council are serving for two years to provide for staggered terms in office in the future. Elections are conducted in November of even-numbered years.
